just thinking back to all the time pushed practically to collapse

Coffee and cigarettes and ritalin and all that other crap
Procrastinating on assignments that fell into my lap
First to grab the course book from the library
Left 10 years ago and still don’t plan on paying that fee

Worthless degree
Wasted my money and time
I could have thrown it all at bitcoin in 2009
Yet I’m still doing fine
I washed off all that grime
And up the social ladder I’ve climbed

With my mattress on the floor
You wouldn’t recognize me anymore
Growing up is such a chore

Mom and dad see my body on the floor

I guess in hindsight that’s a little scary
Bought ourselves a little condo on the prairie

I guess I could have called the tuition fairy

Puerile futility
Feels infantile but that civil utility

Cranking out robots like thneeds from truffula trees with the same thoughts
